Heart and Sol is celebrating Native American Heritage Month and part of that includes a fun, creative night at Studio Vino!

In many Native cultures, women gathered around the fire as keepers of warmth, nourishment, and tradition. The fire symbolizes resilience, purification, and the sustaining power of community. It provides heat for survival, light for guidance, and is essential in the preparation of food and spiritual practices. As caretakers of both family and land, Native women’s connection to the fire reflects their vital role in maintaining balance, heritage, and harmony within their communities.

With this painting, we honor our indigenous ancestors — the keepers of stories, the caretakers of the land, and the resilient hearts who made it possible for us to continue today. Their strength, wisdom, and connection to the earth continue to guide us.
